Mark and Sarah’s Perfect Diamond Engagement Ring

Установка откосов – монтаж пластиковых откосов

Sarah and I started dating in high school. There was always this connection; if we were near each other it just felt right. But life took us in different directions, and we didn’t see each other for 14 years. Then a mutual friend brought us back together, and I knew we were meant to be together.

After researching the qualities that make a perfect engagement ring diamond, I realized that several local jewelry stores just didn’t make the grade. One showed me stones shipped in from New York, but they were not what I was looking for. Another showed me a diamond that I could see had imperfect symmetry. The owner pulled out some technical data trying to convince me it was a perfect stone … and he discovered that I was right. Thanks, but no thanks.

I learned that a cut called Hearts & Arrows was as close to a perfect diamond as you can get. I went to the Hearts & Arrows web site, which lists recommended jewelers. And there was the name Yanke Designs, in Franklin, Michigan.

I phoned Frank Yanke. Before I could even mention Hearts & Arrows, Frank had recommended this cut and described how he could create a unique piece. Talk about relief! Now I knew I had made the right decision for a diamond engagement ring.

Frank had my diamond shipped in, and it was the most perfect stone I had ever seen. The team began to build my custom engagement ring. When they told me it was ready, I remember driving to Franklin with my heart racing. And there it was, on display – I can’t even begin to describe the beauty of that perfect diamond in its perfect setting.

My parents set the stage at my house while I took Sarah to dinner. We returned to a room full of roses and scattered rose petals. I picked up the ring box and got down on one knee. Sarah was unable to talk – she was all smiles. I asked the question, “Will you marry me?” Without hesitation the answer was yes!

I put the ring on her finger … she began to cry…. then Sarah wrapped her arms around me as we fell back on the couch with an amazing kiss to complete the night.
